4.    Cost Effective: Trade Shows offer budget-friendly solutions to market your products and services. Just a simple booth, few technical tools, and a company representative. Thus, it is a cost-effective platform.

5.    Target Market: trade shows are a highly targeted market that is vastly interested in knowing more about your products and services. Even though the event takes place only for a couple of days, it draws thousands of footprints who are genuinely interested in the show.

6.    Relationship Builder: The face to face meeting with the potential customer, allows one to establish a direct, more effective relationship with your client. This relationship is important as you maintain a connection, thrive off their business and network with other clients.

Disadvantages:

1.    Competition:  Trade Show is a platform that presents opportunities to many companies related to a particular niche. Therefore, there will be many companies with similar offerings. This competition is too high at the venus.

2.    Return On Investment: It is a platform that brings in a large footprint, but the sale of a product or a service at the venue is not guaranteed.

Thus, trade shows offer big benefits to businesses of any size, if properly utilized. By combining exposure to a large number of potential leads with the ability to interact personally, trade shows offer an experience for both the business and attendee that other forms of marketing cannot. Though virtual events and other technologies are slowly gaining popularity, few marketing methods compete with the potential of trade shows.
